Was in the market for a bedmat and was about to grab some lasfit ones. I'll check these out. does the tailgate mat screw in? How do these compare to lasfit since they look like the same design and material.

I have the lasfit and ordered OEM bed mat. In high winds 20+mph, I almost lost the mat about to blown out the bed. Had to pull over on the highway and throw it in backseat. Never used it again.

it looks like to be safe you'd have to screw them in by the tiedown rings then.

I was thinking about hard securing them in like that, but taking them out to clean or do maintenance would be so annoying.

That’s another reason why I replaced the lasfit. I frequent the beach and sand gets everywhere. I need a mat that’s easy to remove and replace to clean underneath

I did have it screwed in the tie down near the tailgate, the front end near the cab would always lift when driving in high winds.

It’s a great mat just very light weight. If you have a camper or items to weigh it down then it’s not an issu

I was eyeing something like a Pelican BX135 with the crossbed mounts i wanted to mount at the cab end of the bed. not heavy, but something to at least sit on top of it. That or i imagine a proper tonneau cover would probably work. Before the year is done i'm going to have spent so much money on this truck.

Beach sand is also a real concern for me too. I've got a 9'6 singlefin longboard, I try to rinse it off, but that thing is a sand magnet. not to mention the wetsuit and whole surf kit.

Yea that should work out then. Sand sticks to EVERYTHING! I also have sand sticking to all plastic underneath the hood. Need to give it a good cleaning.

It looks like when I got Michelin and Bosch wiper blades when they were the only choices at the moment with their being little more than basic made of craptacular Chinesium. $20 extra for a brand name here???

Funniest of all to me for not liking heavy weight of the Toyota ones or thermoplastic is I've been using cardboard so happily - free and recycling.

:)

Great question — and appreciate you considering us!

Yes, the tailgate mat is secured with screws to keep it firmly in place, especially under heavier use.

As for the comparison — you’re right that products in this category can look similar at first glance. While designs may look similar, the differences usually come down to fit accuracy and material performance.

During development, we did study some of the top options on the market and focused on improving key areas.

On the design side, we use Blue Laser scanning to create a true 1:1 fit based on the actual truck bed, which helps ensure precise fitment and clean edges.

For materials, we tested different surface patterns and TPE compounds to find the best balance of anti-slip performance and long-term durability. Unlike rubber, this material is free of harsh chemicals, for use even in hot weather, keeping every journey protected.

If you’re comparing options, those details tend to make a real difference in everyday use 👍

Not to be too harsh here, but a couple of things stand out.

1. You say professional design. Is this a distinction between you and everybody else or do you think we think some unprofessional designed it?

2. you claim to be using premium materials in my experience if a brand has to say they are premium they aren’t.

3. so you use a blue laser and somebody else uses a green laser and the other guy uses a red laser. What’s the point of telling us that without telling us why a blue laser has some material advantage to other types of lasers. Making a statement to make a statement with no explanation of why it’s meaningful isn’t very good marketing. It’s like saying it’s great because we say it’s great.

4. Lastly, materials, you say you tested many types of materials to find the best balance and patterns. Sure, so did everybody else, how is your material & pattern better or superior than everybody else?

Totally get that concern。

In practice, because of the raised walls and precise fit, debris tends to stay on the mat rather than getting underneath, so you won’t need to remove it very often.
Plus, the 100% brand-new TPE material is very easy to clean — you can just hose it down and wash away mud or grime in seconds, no need for complicated maintenance in daily use.
