Removed air damn, debadged, lasfit floor liners, infotainment screen protector, replaced felt skid with composite plastic, added a soft roll up tonneau, tinted front windows, and ppf with ceramic coating. I think that's it for a while. Will eventually go to 265/70R18s when the stock 265/65R18s wear out but that will be a few years.

What’s the first upgrade your planning to do?

Upgrade? Like what? This truck is already fairly high end being a Limited trim. Came loaded. I already spent over $3k on ceramic and ppf to protect the paint and another grand on other things mentioned above. It's done. I'm very happy with the way it is now.

Come on, man, be honest with yourself. You’re a Tacoma owner — we always end up doing some kind of upgrade. If it’s not performance, it’s appearance.

So you’re telling me you’re really not going to do any upgrades at all?

Nope! Been there done that for 25 years. Had an '01 that I offroaded for 8 years and an '09 that I modified and lifted. No major changes for this one. It rides so nice.

What have you done to yours?

Just a normal, moderate lift with the Westcott preload collar so I can still keep my original TRD struts.

I added a Prinsu rack, a light bar up top, a grill light bar, and the heritage grille. I also just installed the S&B intake and a Trail Pipe. I went with the Trail Pipe to keep the truck looking clean.

My wife and I do a lot of camping, with some light off-roading when we’re getting to those campsites. I guess I’m still a kid at heart when it comes to car and truck modifications.

Congrats on your new Tacoma!

I have had my 25 Limited hybrid for almost a year now. Seems like I am always adding things.

Nice, I almost went with supersonic red myself. Sharp color.
