Long time lurker and posting to review one of the few mods that stood the test of time on my truck.
Little bit of background for my Tacoma.
Bought in April 2024 as a daily driver, tow rig for my IS300 track car and camping vehicle. The car guy in me couldn't help but mod it right away and in 2025 I installed the Lasfit running board as I grew tired of the predator steps not providing steps where I wanted it.
TDLR: THEY'RE AWESOME
-The full length step is great for anyone trying to get in and out (the SO likes it so that's a HUGE plus).
-Durability has been great as well! I take it out on mild offroad trails and will say they hang lower than the OEM predator steps. Ive landed the truck on some rocks and put some pretty good sized dents in the steps but the main tube is straight as the day I installed it, and with the help of some spray paint, you can hardly tell!
-The middle high step is awesome now that I've added a roof rack. No longer having to open the doors to get a good step and can reach anything I have strapped to the roof (I'm short at 5'7")
-The coating on it is great! No rust so far!
Hope this helped anyone looking into them and I hope to do an overview of my truck in the future!
