Hey all. I am not an electrical engineer or an electrician, but I'm wondering if some of you on the forum who are may be able to offer some help in modding my 2025 Tacoma Off-Road

Goal
1. Replace the Qi Charging Pad with a MagSafe Charger:
Toyota Tacoma 4th Gen Magsafe-compatible Wireless Charging Stand - Etsy

2. Power it via the car battery or the power line that originally powered the OEM Qi Charging Pad

3. Install a switch/button next to the shifter that can toggle power to the MagSafe Charger:
Toyota OEM Square Style "FLUX CAPACITOR" Switch

Reasoning
I would like to utilize the MagSafe Charger as a mount for the phone but have a cool button to toggle whether or not it is charging--I don't want the phone to always be charging (accelerating battery life), but the location is great for phone storage while driving. And the thought that the wiring from the MagSafe could be hidden under the dash panel leaving the two USB-C ports on the dash untouched.

Yes, I know that it could be as simple as plugging and un-plugging the MagSafe from the ports on the right side of the console dashboard, I just think the above proposed solution would be a cleaner and more fun look. Also, replacing one of the blank pleb buttons near the shifter.

Help
Does anyone know what wire harnesses or items I'm missing to make this a reality? I don't pretend to be an expert at any of this and am open to tips.

You can assume that the power supply to the Qi charger is 12 volts and that the charger changes the voltage to 5 or 9 volts or perhaps something else. So... you'd have to find a proper regulator to change the voltage for your MagSafe charger, which I think is probably 5 volts.
