Method +18mm v.s. +40mm

I was just browsing for funsies and for whatever reason discount tire is showing that a Method 318 in 18x8.5 +40mm will not fit my truck but the same wheel in 18x9 +18mm Will fit.

This seems incorrect as I've run whatever the hell the stock SR5 wheels are, +55mm, and +20mm. Right now I'm running 275/70R18 on 18x8.5 +20mm and it's just fine. I've also seen people slap 285s on those 17" SR5 wheels which I think might be more than +55.

So what do you think ? Shitty website ? Or am I missing something about +40mm and that wheel/tire combo ?

Edit: Confirmed. Website error. Interested in photos if anyone's got +40mm offset.
