This was by no means a professional install. I have a Goose Gear 60% seat delete so this made my options pretty slim. I didn't want an under seat enclosure because that would sacrifice my interior storage, and Taco-Tunes' upcoming rear enclosure seems to come with seat spacers, which I was skeptical on compatibility with the delete kit. I installed Beat-Sonic's ENA 3T3 amplifier for overall sound improvement and RCA sub output. The amp includes a remote cable to connect to an aftermarket amp. I ran the RCA and remote cable underneath the passenger foot well and through the floor trim. I put the sub behind the passenger seat and screwed the amp into the Goose Gear for quick access.
Amp (JD500/1) installed in front of the Goose Gear for easy adjustment and heat dissipation.
The sub sits pretty snug up against the passenger seat. I have plans to bolt it down securely. I rarely have someone sitting in the back. But if I need to make room for another person, I'll just velcro the sub to the top of the Goose Gear temporarily.
Since the Beat-Sonic amp is a 'pre-amp' install. (Before JBL Amp) I had to purchase a separate bass knob to control the subwoofer. I installed the RBC-1 from JL Audio in the center console for easy access.
Overall, a pretty straight-forward install. The hardest part was cable management. The JL sub is more than what I'll ever need and it hits pretty dang hard!
