We recently installed a Matte Screen Protector Kit on our 2025 Toyota Tacoma and put together a video covering the benefits, what comes in the box, and the complete installation process!
The kit is available for both the 8-inch and 14-inch displays and is precision cut to fit all the way to the edges for a clean, factory style appearance. The matte finish helps reduce glare, fingerprints, and smudges while protecting the screen from scratches and everyday wear.
Installation uses a wet application process, so you have time to position and align the film before locking it into place. Don’t worry if you notice a few small bubbles or streaks immediately afterward, as the self-healing film will continue to cure, and they should disappear over the next few days, similar to window tint.
We wanted something that protected the screen without looking like an obvious add-on, and we’re really happy with how it turned out. Check out the full overview and installation below, and let us know if you have any questions!
