Solved - the previous owner had installed a ShiftPower module. It was in valet mode. I reset the module and everything is good now. Should I uninstall it completely or keep it?

I recently purchased a certified preowned 2024 Tacoma TRD off-road. The previous owner put on a factory lift and
Nitto recon grappler AT 285 75 17. Other than that, I don’t notice any significant modifications. The truck cannot accelerate at all when going up even a moderate Hill. I can put the pedal to the floor and although the transmission downshifts the turbo does not kick in and the truck barely moves. I’m coming from a Jeep gladiator so it’s not like I’m used to a hot rod. Strangely, I do not notice the same problem when adaptive cruise is activated. The truck is not in Eco mode. Putting it in sport mode and manually downshifting does not help to get the turbo to kick in either. Is this to be expected? Any suggestions before I bring it back to the dealer to check out? Thank you.
