Non JBL - I've gone back and forth with using the Beat-Sonic amp due to the ease of installation, but I think I'll regret not going with a more "traditional" install. I'm having trouble sorting out what harnesses I need based on the following build:

Front Doors and Dash: 6.5" components, crossovers in the kick panels
Rear Doors: 6.5" two-way
LOC: TBD
Amp: 75w x 4
Sub: Since I have a hideaway (speaker level input only) available, I figured I'd throw that under/behind a seat. Not looking to rattle the mirrors with deep bass... yet.

I want to add a harness to the back of the head unit that allows me to send the speaker level outputs to a LOC, which goes to the amp, which goes back to behind the head unit to connect to the speakers. I'd like to better understand:

1. Crutchfield has a PAC LPHTY02 harness, but I'm not sure if that gets me everything I need to connect the items listed above?

2. How can I tie in the hideaway sub? Taco Tunes has harnesses for adding a sub, but I'm not sure if that will work if I use the LPHTY02?

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

That’s the harness you want. If you get an LOC like an LC6i it will sum the signal and give you a sub out. Another option is scrapping the LOC and going into an amp or amp/processor combo that accepts high level inputs (which is pretty much everything nowadays) and has a sub output (again, lots of options here). Just depends on budget and space

Thx! That’s actually what I did. Went with the LC-4.800 amp.
