Anyone else getting obsessively flashed by oncoming vehicles because they think you have your highbeams on due to the ultra bright projector headlights?

I've lowered the lights a few notches to try to mitigate it, but 1 out of 5 cars still highbeam me upon passing eachother. Winters are dark and long up here in AK, this is going to be rather annoying. :)

I've gotten it a couple times since I got the truck in June. I also lowered the lights a couple notches thinking it may help. The previous owner put in different bulbs which is probably the issue. I asked a couple friends if the lights seemed bad when looking head-on and they said they were bright but by no means were they blinding.

I've gotten a few high beams directed at me especially at intersections. It's not like I have my fogs on too; just my headlights, DRL and fang lights (that doesn't really light up very far, it's mainly used for decoration).

The :devilish: on my shoulder wants me to retaliate and turn ON my light bar too...that'll blind the bejesus outta them. Muhaha-haha. But then the 😇 side would feed into my conscience saying "doing that would surely cause major accidents if everyone on the other side of the street is blinded by the lights". It's no fun being "good" all the time...so I just 🤷‍♂️ it off and let karma deal with em..

I did until I turned the lights down to #2.
This is my setting as well. Use your high beams as a guide to adjust this. Notice that with it on 0 there is hardly any difference in high and low beams which tells me why others flash us. Now try it at 2 and see how much more useful your brights are. 0 and even 1 will get you flashed, especially if you are lifted.
