Has anyone here installed oem fender flares on an SR/SR5? I understand the sheetmetal is different on Sport/Off Road but I came across a Facebook post saying it’s as simple as removing the clips and using some 3M tape. I’ve searched and searched but cannot get a clear answer. Unfortunately, I don’t have a Facebook account to ask for more details so hoping someone here may be able to help. Cheers!

Pretty sure there are pre cut holes (square shaped) all along the fender hump that the clips snap into on the metal fender

The pre-cut holes are different pattern in the SR5 as they are in the TRD. I bought fender liners for the rear and ended up returning because I was not satisfied only being able to use a few clips. I think your options on the SR5 are those flares that use adhesive.

I bought the OEM flares and prepped them with double sided tape for the install on the SR5 (it's been done many times on the 3rd gens). Unfortunately I learned that you have to pull the bumper to remove the little plastic vent thingy on the front wheel wells.. That paint matched vent has screws on the back that you cannot get at without removing the bumper. Interestingly, those screws aren't used on the full sized flare. Planning to tackle it in the spring.

Would love to see a write up when you do this!
