You can see in my avatar 285/70/17 with Black Rhino wheels and a +20 mm offset. Only the sidewall of the tire is outside the fender as in original even though the tire (Nokian Outpost nAts) are 1" wider. I suspect that the Black Rhino wheels (Etosha) are either slightly more than the OEM +20 mm or there is some other geometric issue. In any case with that size tire on 17s, +20 mm works well. The diameter difference from stock is about 3/8" taller with the Nokians, not enough to really through off the speedometer by much, about 0.1 mph at 70 mph.Trail Hunter is +20. +20 to +35 seems to be the sweet spot for the best fitment of larger tires. 0 your pushing the wheel out further and will more likely have problems. 285/70R17 will most likely still fit with 0 offset? But there will be alot of poke! Factory TRD OR is +55.
