FYI, I was skeptical and trusted my Toyota dealership service department to be honest and tell the truth that they completed the services. Now I know it's true, you can't trust them.

Toyota Care was ending this week on my 2024 Tacoma, so I went in today to have tires rotated and new air filter installed. They said both were completed. I had marked the tires to verify and when I checked, sure enough they weren't rotated. I checked the cabin air filter when I got home and it didn't look like it was replaced either.

I did let them know my tires weren't rotated while I was there. It sucks you can't trust them to be honest.

It is absolutely awful that trust with some of the dealer service departments has gone downhill. Even if the service doesn't pay the shop much, I figure if they do great work under the maintenance plan then they can earn more business for more costly services later. I too mark my tires to check if they are rotated. Last week I took my 25 TRD O/R in for the 1 year free service and yes, they did rotate but I just checked the torque and found the R/F wheel torqued way over 97 lbs! I had to use a maxo breaker bar and 63 years of body weight to crack those lug nuts!
