Got my oil changed this morning, but I don’t ever remember my LCA looking like this. CV Boot doesn’t appear to have any tears or anything. And the shock body appears normal.
Wondering wth it is.

I see a lot of splatter marks in the photos. Any chance you unknowingly struck some road debris?

In my area, I often get tagged by the remnants of grease left by a rig, construction equipment, dump or garbage truck. One blob is picked up by the wheel, then splatters all-over.

I only have a guess because mine looked similar for a minute. When I drained my oil, I found the oil plug is at an angle. The draining oil hit my drain pain and ricochet back up and splashed all over my passenger side lower control arm and inner wheel. The solution is to use an oil diffuser material in the drain pan so the oil doesnt splash. Whoever changed your oil wasn’t careful and simply did a poor job cleaning up. Gotta ask yourself if you really trust them to change your oil.

Yeah, I had the same thing happen on my first oil change. I wasn't ready for just how fast warm 0W-20 can flow out of the oil plug. Just like you, it hit my drain pan and splashed all over my passenger lower control arm and inner wheel... it also made a nice giant mess in my driveway. Installed the Fumoto valve after that and oil changes are so much easier.
