I couldn't find info about what battery size the new Tacoma's use, so I was at the dealer and snapped some photos!
The stock battery (in the non-hybrids) is "395LN4-MF", it's an 80 Ah battery with 689 CCA. I couldn't find many references to this battery online, but I'm 95% sure it's a " Group Size H7 (94R)" size battery.
As for mounting a second battery, it seems like there's quite a bit of space to work with. Here's a further back photo. Sounds like there's one or two companies working on a dual battery mount setup that would let you add a Group 24 battery alongside the stock battery.
