  2. Tire Upgrade for Stock SR5 4x4 - Input Requested

I own a 2024 SR and had those steel wheels and 245. I upgraded to Method Wheels 316 17x8 and 33” tires in the 255/80/R17 Nitto Grappler and they have plenty of room to spare. No lift or shocks added. Words of advice from Toyota, trust our product, no need to replace everything.
  3. đź’ˇ[Interest Check] Does your Tacoma need a Hood Strut Kit?

I bought a hood insulation and strut kit on Amazon. Works great. Remember to lift the hood when you go to snap that ball in on the strut base on each side. The insulation will require something to stand on to put in.
  4. CBI Offroad products not fully baked

I keep hearing Cali. I was deceived into buying rock slides that clearly didn’t take into account the SR extended cab has rear springs. I had to make my own modifications because of inferior support from CALI. Ironman4x4 made a few mistakes by sending me the bumper before it was ready for...
  5. CBI Offroad products not fully baked

I bought a bumper from Ironman4x4 and shaved half my front bumper off with an oscillating saw. The stupid damper on the radiator had a connection to the damper motor. Part of my install was to plug in a fake damper Motor and mount it before discarding the damper.
  6. Be careful around your 4x4 Selector Switch. How mine broke

On my SR the selector switch is on the edge of the console near the shifter on drivers side. It’s over the edge for whatever reason.

Its location digs into my leg.
  8. I didn’t think it was possible... 23 mpg!

I got 23 mpg from Tallahassee to Denver. On the way back I had a trailer and got 19. I bought new tires and now get 18.
  9. Amazon/Ebay skid plates are trash.

I have the Ironman 4x4 bumper Sid plate that came with my bumper and behind that is the MillerCat engine skid plate and behind that is the MillerCat Catalytic Converter cover plate. The Ironman plate is a beast and the MillerCat plates are excellent with flush access to the oil filter and oil...

  11. Auxbeam switch panel installed.

  12. Trail exhaust / axle dump sound difference (clip)

I bought the NYT version on sale. Really don’t notice a big difference but the ground clearance is better and reduced weight.
  13. Hood strut install and discount code

I installed struts I bought on Amazon. The key to the installation is the last step. Lift up on the hood to line up the ball joint on each side. It’s a hood strut not a Baja competition axle strut.
  14. Auxbeam switch panel installed.

What is that metal shelf on top of your fuse box. I have an acumen controller to mount in mine and looking at options.

  16. Rough country soft roll cover

If you look around you will see the same cover branded with different names and different prices. RC has one of the most reasonable prices.
  17. Let's Talk About Skidplates

There are two holes an inch apart going from front to back on both sides of the underbelly about even with the front of your tires about 30” apart from side to side. That brace goes there and then your skid plate attaches to that.
  18. Let's Talk About Skidplates

I went with Miller Cat for engine and catalytic converter. My full hoop Ironman 4x4 bumper came with a front skid plate that is uber heavy duty.
  19. Rock Sliders

I bought mine from Cali Raised after the guy at the booth convinced me the double cab fits the extended cab. OOPS! The double cabs don’t have rear leaf spring suspension. So I had to make some modifications.
