I honestly think it's worth the money. It's put together well and if you're handy and understand assembling things, you *can* do it yourself. But if you're not, bring a buddy or a forklift.
The most challenging part was the middle screw by the cab to hold the lid on it. Had to put a vice grip on the nut inside so I could tighten the bolt with the hex key. Took about 4 hours from start to finish (but I have some nifty time-saving tools like power ratchets).

Did first oil change at ~900mi. Tried to put icon +600lb springs on rear axle, but I couldn’t get enough droop in the axle to put the new spring in, as it’s a bit longer. Ran out of time, put original spring back in till I have time to try again.
seems like I’ll have to disconnect both sides shocks, swaybar, brake lines to get enough space. That rear axle has a lot more travel in it than I’d have thought. Pretty impressive tbh.

Good looking truck!It’s at about 230mi now, this pic was taken when it had 13mi on the clock.
In the process this weekend of adding a few things.
Today i added RC molle panels, cali raised stiffeners. Tomorrow my OVS topper is supposed to arrive, will also be putting ARK splash guards on.
only things left are tinted windows and black camo leather seat covers from Leland that seem to be stuck in customs since 2/6

I put them on because of the cap and that I off-road. It’s not confirmed that there is a need, but past generations have needed them with added weight on the rails combined with off-road flex.
i haven’t seen any fails with the gen 4 but its early In this gen’s run.
installation in my case was intentionally a belt and suspenders situation, if that makes sense, as I have a good bit of weight in the bed plus the cap.
It's a tradeoff of a composite bed. if you're putting significant weight along the sidewalls or rails, you should get bed stiffener's to help prevent the bed warping or in extreme cases, a crack while off roading.
It's a low cost preventive measure. I don't have them installed, but would if i were to put significant weight on the side walls.
