So I just installed these Mabett hood struts on my Tacoma. Mabett sent me these to check out, but just to be clear, I’m not paid for this review.
The quality feels really good, they hold the hood up perfectly, and the install was super easy. I was able to do the whole thing by myself with no issues.
The instructions were also really straightforward, so overall, the install and quality are definitely on point. Only issue with the install instructions was that I think it cut off the fact that you need a washer with the nut when installing on the passenger side.
The only thing I wish they included was the torque specs for the bolts. Other than that, I really like these and they’re a great little upgrade for the Tacoma. Wish I would have had them sooner! Any questions feel free to ask.
