    TLRD; all the replies but I tightened all my rubber engine mudguards and that wasnt my problem. I found out it was the inside plastic trim on the leading edge of the door. The wind at speeds would enter and make it rattle...

    They removed both sides and taped with foam tape and reinstalled. Looks like a perfect pocket to catch the wind like a parachute.

    The dealership thinks they have solved the riddle. Here it is ..... It was none of my guesses and nothing I had seen before on Tacoma4G or Tacomaworld Makes sense with speed activation.

    Dealer gave me a brand new 1794 edition while they resolve the issue. I'm at work seeing if anyone had luck with it. Seems to be a common noise and there is no way I can live with that. I Must me too far on the spectrum :giggle: - Really sounds like plastic on plastic. ticking I love that...

    I was on tacomaworld and tried this 2 days ago. Not my issue but I have that same ticking rattle from door area on driver side. Its sound like all videos on here. I saw one post from @Tony with tape and foam all over his truck. I felt like I was alone with the struggle but maybe not
