Having dealt with this kinda crap in the past I decided to cancel my Tacoma order and ordered a 2026 4Runner. Japan build vs Mexican build... Best of luck with the stink. If it is coming through the vents that is a health concern that nobody should be dealing with.
I get nasty allergies to some odd unnatural chemical smells. When we're getting odours we're inhaling VOC's that may or may not be bad for our health.
With my WRX I had to trade it in as I couldn't defrost anymore. The issue appeared at about 15000km, I drove it from Cape Breton to Ontario...
My stink boxes where the same, on recirculation no smell. The clearly indicates a problem. In winter climates this creates a safety hazard as the windows don't defrost well on recirculation.
Jesus fuck I don't want to hear this! I had a WRX that smelled like burning and whatever it was made me dizzy, of course Subaru wouldn't acknowledge it. My current Jeep did it for a bit then whatever it was burned off, I really don't need another stink box that is melting plastic and passing...
Hey!
Thanks for the information, I figured I'd be giving Eibach a call to get those details. I like to have some rake so now I can feel good about installing the fronts at the factory setting. When the truck comes in it is going to be what we used to call a 'trail limo', meaning it is the...
Having owned a Mojave and a previous gen ZR2 I can say that they were both awesome for the faster stuff. My previous Tacomas didn't compare in that area but I've never had the Pro. The Mojave's were rock solid dependable, I beat them to hell and never had a problem. The ZR2 Multimatic DSSV...
Thanks! We u-bolted some 2x2's on my buddies 3rd gen Tacoma to carry 2 canoes last summer, I was never confident doing that with my Jeep due to the mounting on the drip rail setup. Our canoes are 34 inches wide each, should be good to get both on 60 inches with a staggered position.
Hey jltk, looks like you're also in Canada. Where did you purchase your Eibach kit? I am leaning to the same kit for mine when it arrives and of course want the best price I can get.
On the Eibach site it states the front lift is set to match/level with the rear if the rear is left stock...
I've been looking for the rear shock lengths with no luck. When my 2026 Off road with the 6ft bed comes in mid January I'd like to do a small basic lift, likely Fox 2.0 or Eibach. When choosing the rear shocks I want to get a couple extra inches of travel. In the past I ran an OME lift on my...
