After a weekend of off-roading some similar slow-speed-turn metallic noises returned. I went back to the shop and they are gone again, for now. They said it was a different noise source than before.

Service Center #1:
1st visit: They claimed they didn't hear the noise.
2nd visit: I test drove it with a tech, they confirmed the noise, kept it 1.5 days then told me it was "normal'.

So they claim it's "normal" for Gen4. I asked them to bring it up with their regional Toyota representative as I find it hard to believe it's designed that way. They claim they heard the same noise with non-Trailhunters on the lot as well. I'm definitely interested to hear the response you get...
