3-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty, a 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty, and 5-year unlimited-mileage rust-through coverage.
Think my extended is 120k
We are right @ 40k miles with 2024 Tacoma in only 15 months as wife drives 90 mile round trip for work (her daily driver) and...
I will get mine from Toyota for the 40k change and 80k " (warranty reasons only) then will change next after they another 80k miles (160k miles), then I will be running the best of my left over 40k plugs "if" I still have her. 😆 (yep cheap bastard).
Changed original plugs in wife's last vehicle...
Was wondering is engine was completely off as in no transmission fluid movement when in hybrid mode? As that would be horrible on any transmission to instantly go.
Seems like engine needs to be @ idle and ready.
Sounds like you have found a work around.
So, when you get in and take off engine is not running as in hybrid mode, then all of a sudden with 0 run time transmission is trying to take off? Is this correct?
OK, I see and just another Sr. moment.
Your thinking seems spot on as something in hybrid seems off.
How many miles?
And you are saying this happens only while in hybrid (electric mode)?
I much prefer Fahrenheit myself as from US, but think that is why "we" like it so.
I worked between UK and Norway for years and they certainly would always win the argument.
To me when working with temperatures Fahrenheit is a better scale as much more numbers to go with as say like 68 to 69...
2024 Limited
14 months and 38k miles
Absolutely 0 issues other than wife gets 1.5 mpg less than me when she drives! (and it is hers) 😆
Average mpg for "her" is 21 mpg over several months.
90 miles a day for work round trip.
68 miles is interstate @ 77mph
22 miles is simple 2 lane @ 62mph...
Yours may be super calibrated for racing, as it levels out once you get behind the wheel by yourself.
Have ya made a measurement with you behind the wheel?
3/4"....Ya may need to gain some weight until it lines up. 😆
Mine was bad enough that it was on a trade in plan for an F150, but somewhere well after 10k miles she did go from a tank average of 17 to average of right @ 22.
Which is about the same as my F150, but less than my son's 2025 v6 F150
I do however like the driving comfort, as well as all...
Yes, I went with the calculator and gallons used for 1st 15k miles or so when mileage truly sucked.
But did discover along the way, that when on trips the computer was damn near dead on every time.
Absolutely the most accurate I have ever had, so I have no problem sticking with it.
My averages...
