Ya it keeps them from flapping back into place lol. Make sure you got the fasteners that hide at the corners. I forget the exact memory but there was def a hex bolt hiding over there on each side.
Ya it’s definitely a hard yank, but also remember to pop out the portion nearest to the fender perpendicularly to the vehicle before yanking the bumper forward.
The TH has the stabilizer disconnect, I raised it an additional inch on new springs and no issue with the stabilizer. Also avoided the diff drop from the bad stories I heard with the diff drop.
I always use Titan Chemistry’s products. I spray their Bug Remover on the bugs, then foam the car down with their Extreme Foam and then use my mitt. Works every time!
So now that they had a chance to settle about 4k miles. Everything is still feeling super good.
Total lift is about an extra inch front and rear from center of the hub to the fender over stock TH. Carrying about 200lbs in the bed.
Rebound feel good and no extra bounce on pavement or off road...

I am going to confirm that the TH skids are steel, very strong steel lol. A: magnets attach to it, and B: I modified mine to fit my steel bumper and had to cut front notches off. My steel cut off wheel on the Milwaukee grinder did not find that to be aluminum lol.
