Running zero offset, 35s x 12.50
.75 lift over stock Trailhunter.
had to cut about .5 inch of the metal
Sill plate to clear.
ran +25 offset but 0 looks way better imo
Ya mine always bounces between the - and the + on the little digital battery. When I got in the truck today is was closer to the plus and when driving it’s closer to the minus lol
let me know if you do the optima battery. I don’t like having less than 100% confidence when I am hours away...
Quiet the opposite, it pulls on the battery even more. Its just slightly less engaging in the start stop. It wont shut down the engine when coasting to a stop, only just once you finally stop.
This is all good information.
Now that I think about it, I do drive very short distances and its quite possible the night prior I was working on the truck and had doors and lights on when the truck was being worked on. Then the next day it was a quick 3 min drive before shutting it down...
Almost got stranded today. 25 Trailhunter with 10k miles.
My truck has been super reliable except today got my first issue. Started my truck and moved it 30 feet closer to load it up. Shut it down and about 40 min later went back to start it up and wouldn’t turn over.
Cluster lit up like a...
I followed this insta person Kev_pnw becasue it’s a blue Tacoma in the Pacific Northwest and I though it was you. But now that I look closer different rim style. You have a doppelgänger near by lol
Ya it keeps them from flapping back into place lol. Make sure you got the fasteners that hide at the corners. I forget the exact memory but there was def a hex bolt hiding over there on each side.
Ya it’s definitely a hard yank, but also remember to pop out the portion nearest to the fender perpendicularly to the vehicle before yanking the bumper forward.
The TH has the stabilizer disconnect, I raised it an additional inch on new springs and no issue with the stabilizer. Also avoided the diff drop from the bad stories I heard with the diff drop.
I always use Titan Chemistry’s products. I spray their Bug Remover on the bugs, then foam the car down with their Extreme Foam and then use my mitt. Works every time!
So now that they had a chance to settle about 4k miles. Everything is still feeling super good.
Total lift is about an extra inch front and rear from center of the hub to the fender over stock TH. Carrying about 200lbs in the bed.
Rebound feel good and no extra bounce on pavement or off road...
