  1. Driveline Vibration Issue & Fix: Replace Rear Driveshaft

Wow, I had this issue with a Ram 1500. Right around 65 MPH it would start vibrating. once you get to 70 - 75 it was fine. Went to dealer many times and nothing could be found. I always had suspected the tires since the factory 20" tires were junk. I finally replaced the factory tires around...
  2. Toyota Key Fob Battery Life - Not Great!

15 months and no problem for me. Biggest killer of FOB batteries is keeping it near the vehicle. It will constantly hunt and draw the FOB battery down. Try storing the key FOB farther away from the truck.
  3. Opt-7 rear light bar

Yes, I have one installed. Easy installation. I have also hooked the reverse light to the Aux switch for the rear. This just requires a diode to protect the trucks reverse light circuit.
  4. Coolant Change Procedure?

The factory coolant recommended change cycle is 100,000 miles not Kilometers. You have quite a ways to go.

  8. Drive Recorder Feature

Nope, won't happen. I have yet to see Toyota add a feature during updates. I have only seen them remove.
  9. Is the Toyota app down for anyone else? can't remote start or unlock/lock

Not sure if this is the same issue, but last Thursday and Friday I was trying to use Amazon Music and got nothing but a blank screen. Never had this before, but I have not used it in a few weeks. I have not tried to use remote features in a while.
  10. Toyota i-FORCE MAX Hybrid System - Components Explained

I was gonna post this after I saw it yesterday morning and got sidetracked. Good info. I was surprised by the 5 friction disc clutch pack being used are no larger than my motorcycle and less discs. That is a lot of torque put through the system and I am wondering about longevity.
  11. Tire pressure screen reset - when will there be a TSB?

I still do not have a problem with the TPMS changing by itself. I have TPMS displayed on "page 2 left side" since I first set up my displays.
  12. Body side molding issues poorly attached

The bodyside moldings are held on using 3M tape.
  13. Body side molding issues poorly attached

Sounds like they did not properly prep the surface prior to installing the moldings. I have had them on numerous vehicles and they do a great job of protecting the doors. They have also lasted over 10 years and never peeled back. If the dealer is going to replace them, then get it done.
