  1. OEM downpipe vs. OTT High Flow Catted Down Pipe - side by side comparison

I have a question. How robust is the flex joint in the pipe? Is there a concern that this area will separate over time with heat cool cycling? This is a really nice upgrade.
  2. Rattling noise on 2024 Tacoma when accelerating

I can hear what you're talking about. This is a different sound than the direct injection. If you are going to try higher octane value just use 93 Top Tier gas such as Exxon, Shell, Chevron for the next few tanks. It may solve this, if indeed a fuel related issue. However, what I heard sounds...
  3. 3 oil changes in first 10,000 miles. Oil Analysis lab results attached.

I have a 2013 Honda Accord with 227,000 miles on it, and you guessed it, 0w-20 it's whole life. Its still rolling and rolling well. 0W-20 is also for HP. Turbo or not, just change it and have it tested. I do every single time because I live near most of the race teams. My Tacoma's oil has been...
  4. lifted Tacomas getting insurance cancelled Torque News reports

Clearly delusional. Let's put this in safety perspective. Your Taco vs a loaded 34ton dump truck. It's not possible whatsoever for that in spec dump truck to be any hazard, it's not possible, it can't be because it has EVERY component in spec. Unbelievable. This type of thinking is why big...
  5. lifted Tacomas getting insurance cancelled Torque News reports

And exactly why everyone with a Tacoma pull their coverage from them.
  6. lifted Tacomas getting insurance cancelled Torque News reports

For good sake! Will you have a look at the initial post and the truck picture? Does this look like something wrong?
  7. lifted Tacomas getting insurance cancelled Torque News reports

It's all risk. I assume you also agree that all Smart Cars and motorcycle policies should fit your same narrative?
  8. lifted Tacomas getting insurance cancelled Torque News reports

Agreed. Until everyone bands together and pulls their coverage to another provider we allow big insurance to control us. This forum is a great place to band together and make a point. All who have State Farm here, please consider moving. I seen this story and was appalled some time ago. Great post.
  9. 18" TRD Wheels +45mm & 275/70R18 on TRD Offroad Premium. Anybody?

Yes, unless you get the Pro flares or an aftermarket set, and that's no guarantee. I still have the Fox lift coming and will likely get a little worse for me, but the truth is, I'll never be that rough on it anyway. I'm also noticing that the Goodyear Wranglers are not holding small rocks, like...
  10. 18" TRD Wheels +45mm & 275/70R18 on TRD Offroad Premium. Anybody?

I'm traveling this week and not able to get a picture but I would say 1-inch past the fender.
  11. 18" TRD Wheels +45mm & 275/70R18 on TRD Offroad Premium. Anybody?

This is not your preferred wheels but maybe the stance will give you an idea how it will look. Just a small bit of poke here with the Pro wheels on Goodyear Wranglers.
  12. 5w-30

Okay, ill leave it at this. Driven 0w20 is ment for your car, regular John Brown. The difference is the additive package. You are paying for protection from research and data collection. When you see a brand, the brand is the additive package. There is only 2 or 3 base oils.
  13. 5w-30

Goodness? Show us your data to back up your claims. Is this feelings again? I have my data.
  14. 5w-30

There is a lot of folks here relying on feelings and I think decisions. I was in your camp not long ago. 0w-20 is better than you think especially sheering and oxidation value. The key is to switch to a brand that has the best additive package, such as Driven 0W-20. There is too much here to...
