I'd love to see the ptr56-35242-f1 TRD wheels (18x8 + 45mm) with 275/70R18 (Toyo AT3) tires on a Tacoma. Does anybody have any photos?

I'm hoping it will be flush or with tiny poke, since I do a lot of offroading and forest trails and I'm not looking to sandblast my backend.

I'm thinking this will move the wheel and tire combo out by ~1 inch but I'm not sure it's enough. I'm calculating that my OEM wheels are 18 x 7.5 with 265/70R18 so I'm expecting it to move the wheel itself out by about 3/4 inch (1/4 for the wheel width, provided that the extra 1/2 inch of width is centered on the hub) and another 1/2 inch (10mm less offset), and the tire out by another ~1/4inch (275 is .4" wider than 265).

Is +45mm enough to get it nice and flush? I only get one shot at this and I don't want to feel meh.

This is not your preferred wheels but maybe the stance will give you an idea how it will look. Just a small bit of poke here with the Pro wheels on Goodyear Wranglers.

Not Toyo AT3 tires, but are 275/70R18 on TRD wheels.
Hope this is useful.

Beautiful truck! Any chance you have a photo from the front that shows how much poke you're getting past the fender? If not, would you say it's flush or ~1 inch?

Oh nice! Gorgeous!!! It's the first ones I see "for real". Nice grill-swap too!

The wheels look flush with the top of the fender to me. Am I right or they inset at all?

The tread is inline with fender cover and just the side-wall giving a little poke.

I'm traveling this week and not able to get a picture but I would say 1-inch past the fender.

Thanks!

Am I right to think that, with a setup like yours on sand or dirt roads, I might damage the paint behind the wheels?

Yes, unless you get the Pro flares or an aftermarket set, and that's no guarantee.
I still have the Fox lift coming and will likely get a little worse for me, but the truth is, I'll never be that rough on it anyway. I'm also noticing that the Goodyear Wranglers are not holding small rocks, like in a gravel driveway, to wreck the paint once you get up to speed like some other tires I've had. If it looks good, go for it.
