TRD Off Road wheels. These have around 400 miles on them. Unfortunately Discount Tire dinged one of the wheels when removing them (see pictures). No TPMS sensors. I can include the OEM lug nuts if you want (with locking nuts). No shipping. Located in Enumclaw but commute to Bellevue so willing...
Lots of people are upsizing tires and doing the trail dump exhaust (myself included). At a certain point, the factory spare tire location can't hold the same size tires as people are upgrading to. Maybe they can fit a tank where the spare tire goes.
What load rating? Hopefully SL rated. I changed my factory tires out for Falken Wildpeaks in 285/70R17 SL and to me they ride stiffer than the original tires my off road came with. Not a lot worse, but definitely just a little bit more stiff over small chatter and bumps.
You could change the shocks out for a set from an SR5 or an Off Road. As others have said, check your air pressures. Mine were overfilled. I lowered the front to 30psi and rear to 28psi. Rides much better now.
Have you had a chance to try these out on the OEM cover? If so, did they work? I'm thinking about buying this kit for my OEM cover if it worked for you.
Yes, I feel like I got really lucky. It probably helps that I'm on the west coast so it came straight up from Baja on a train. I've heard the trucks that need to be shipped on a boat can take much longer.
My dealer called when they had an allocation for a TRD OR with premium package. I put my deposit down in late June 2024, build date was 7/10/24 and I picked my truck up on 8/16/24.
My Apple Carplay connects fine except if I remote start the truck. Toyota needs to fix the issue with music not pausing when using Siri for hands free tasks.
In my F150 the music pauses, the A/C turns down to be more quiet, etc. In my Tacoma, the music stays at full volume while Siri is...
I've been driving my truck for a few days now and I also have the TPMS issue.
My biggest complaint though is the way Siri functions with Apple Carplay. In my F150 when you use Siri to send a text or search for a place to navigate to (hands free), it mutes/pauses the music so that you can...
Has anyone taken their Tacoma through an automatic car wash? If so, did you have to turn anything off in the Toyota safety sense settings?
Where I live, we have those automatic washes where you put your car in neutral and they guide you through on a conveyor. My fear is that I'm going to get...
Thanks for the picture. I sent it to BlendMount's customer service email and they said neither will work on the 2024 Tacoma due to the stem design. They're currently developing a product for the 2024 but it won't be available for a couple of months.
I'm ordering a BlendMount before my truck arrives, so can anyone confirm what the mirror stem looks like with the premium package? Based on some youtube videos I've watched I'm pretty sure it's the first one:

TOY-005
Thanks for posting this information. This gives me a lot to think about. I'm currently averaging almost 20k miles per year. This almost makes me want to go with a shorter year range but higher mileage. Maybe 7yr/125k instead of 10yr/100k.
I want the Revolver X4s but I'm also concerned about whether or not it will work with the power tailgate. I personally like rolling covers more than the folding covers.
When the hybrid was first announced, I was excited about buying a truck that would get significantly better fuel economy. But then Toyota released the fuel economy ratings and the hybrid just isn't that much better. I would appreciate the extra power, but it still wasn't worth an extra $5k in...
I’ve only seen pictures online, but I don’t think you lose the recovery points. See this thread: https://www.tacoma4g.com/forum/threads/victory-4x4-front-skid-plate-installed.5099/
