Interesting experience but not surprising. The phone āpickupā lottery, ie who picked up your call, often guides ones experience. I try to talk with a sales manager or the GM whenever possible to shortcut the no authority salesperson experience.
3Wliners sent me a set of their all weather floormats asking I review and share my thoughts with you.
Overall, and to no surprise, they are way better than the OEM floor mats.
I like that they have much better coverage and how the back fits snugly over and around the backseat floor hump. The...
Today, I picked up a Solar Octane 24 Tacoma TRD OR longbed with the premium package from Livermore Toyota.
Scenario: My kidās 2001 explorer broke down and she needed a replacement vehicle right away. She always liked the Silver Bullet, the 24 TRD OR Tacoma I bought a few months ago, so she...
So, as some of you attested, it can be done. For me, it took help from smaller people. Iām too tall to squeeze my way to undo the straps, but my wifeās hands were just right. I pulled the strap from the front with a coat hanger bent just the right way while she moved the straps in the right...
Looks like the nylon straps in my truck are shorter than yours. Thereās literally no give. I tried with the included tucking ātoolā to stretch it under a lot of force and they simply wonāt stretch far enough to unloop around the hook. Iām too old for this S**t. Oh well. Back to China they go...
And how did you manage getting that flap off? Before trying it again, it would be nice to have a sense for how they come undone. Unfortunately, no instruction on YouTube, the internet, or here.
Iād probably be willing to give it another shot if I wasnāt guessing at how to undo the rear flap on the front seats. I can feel some stretchy material going to an attachment point, but Iām not 5 inches tall and canāt see the location. Iād rather not guess and screw it up.
Another member recommended these seat covers from Amazon. I figured, ok, inexpensive, but might be worth it.
Turns out, nope. Total crap with bad fitment that just looks frumpy.
I didnāt buy seat covers so I could tear into my seats, potentially breaking them or the various connection points...
The taco jbl stereo is average at best with a strong front sound bias. The door and rear sub? donāt seem to be intended to ābalanceā the sound at all. Set your sound at 30 and pull the sound all the way back, then left and right to see what Iām talking about. Unfortunately, not a lot of you can...
One manās opinion, itās all good. Did not mean to ruffle your feathers. thereās a few brands out there that offer factory ppf. Not sure why or how you equate my opinion on paint as an indicator Iām unhappy with options or the truck overall, but whatever, itās the internets. All good.
Give to your local animal shelter, they are dealing with a huge wave of post pandemic dog surrenders. Especially tough because most are Huskys, German Shepherds, and pit mixes which are harder to adopt out and more costly to house and feed. I did my part adopting these twoā¦
Old school, mcguires tek wax every 90 days. The 3k ppl/ceramic crowd is more protected/shinier for sure, but I canāt say the cost is worth it. Totally subjective, but I would ppf a new R8, not a Toyota, so Iām not against it, just not for it for a pickup. Beauty marks are part of the charm.
This is just a fail, imo, that you all are paying an extra 3k or more to make up for the fact that Toyota paint is $h!t on a 65k+ trim. Toyota should ship it with full ppf for that price.
