I saw this same response to the Tundra Turbo failures, and then the engine failures over the course of 2 years. Sad fact is that weāll never know any more than Toyota tells us. You wonāt get anything special from Toyota and it wont become a recall unless the govt forces a recall.

Youāre overthinking it. All vehicles work, until they donāt. You may never have a transmission problem. On the other hand your engine could fail tomorrow. No complicated machine operates perfectly problem free forever. I think you should just be prepared and enjoy your new truck.
