Just noticing that everyone with a TH removes it when they get home and immediately posts it for sale. I realize it’s not totally functional, but I don’t think it’s bad as a cosmetic flourish. I’d pay @300 for one, but not more. Thoughts? Why did you dump yours?

I like these ideas, but doubt they will happen and dont want them to happen because: 1: Too much sophistication and they are going to scavenge sales from the Tundra. 2. More electronics will only make the Taco less reliable and more expensive.

I can appreciate wanting that. It used to be so easy and now it’s buried behind digital menus. I was looking for a reset the other day and gave up. I’ll be waiting until my next fill up to start over. It’s not the end of the world, since it’s a truck, I don’t exactly have high expectations.

KBB always lags the market anyway. They’re not a good place to get a good value. They also don‘t assess all your expensive options as worth much, so that almost 5k “upgrade” package doesn’t move the value needle much on their end.

I think the best way to look at the taco’s price is to consider it a 35k truck with 4 years pandemic fueled inflation.

I have to agree. The truck gets to ticket speeds quicker than I expect. I often find myself over and have to lift if I’m not watching my acceleration. Also, I easily get 22 average with 75/25 town/hwy driving. No complaints. Also agree, ignore the gas gauge when it bottoms out and do the math...

Enjoy it in good health. I liked the vibrant color of the screens in the Chevy, but I think the Taco is a better overall package.
