Armrest cover. My elbow is asking for more padding already! If there is a gray/green that looks good with the Trailhunter’s Mineral seats, even better.
I’m good with hacking off some to save the rest, ideally. Plus the large swath of bumper cover plastic is yucky to me. Too much pasta, not enough meat. I’d like armor and a winch just big enough for my truck & a pal’s Titan V8 truck. Someone’s bound to get stuck in Tahoe.
The winch adds a lot...
My only concern with that one is that it weighs a lot, and I will probably feel compelled to change my suspension. I love the performance of the stock OME Trailhunter suspension.
I would be interested in the old school type that sticks up a quarter of an inch or so to deflect rocks as well as bugs and looks like a see-through tinted plastic door visor (also called a door wind deflector.) I am not interested in the type that sticks onto the edge of the hood.
Oh well…The M-F-ing deer can’t buy armor either, so I guess it’s fair…til a designer gets us to be the first guinea pigs to try their new offering that satisfies our wish list.
I have the exact same quest for my Trailhunter and had given up for the time being. Am in search of a low profile bumper, smallish winch, bull bar plus bars on the sides that wrap around the headlights to protect from at least hitting a small deer. Appreciate that you have posted this. I may...
I have the Mountain Hatch. It is on sale right now. I like it because it is a food grade cutting board and I use it for camping and projects. And a lot less moolah than BillieBars although those are really groovy looking. If you want a the deep cupholders, you probably want to get your hatch...
When using adaptive cruise, I do not notice the engine shutting off. If it is doing it when I’m sitting still I have not noticed. I had the fun of 1 1/2 hours of freeway traffic day before yesterday.
I see what you mean. My truck keeps the HVAC running when I’m stopped at a light or idling longer than I expected to. That’s one of the reasons I’m happy with how the HVAC is operating.
I think the dealer is being a jerk. There are a certain number of oil changes they will give you within the 24-month timeframe provided you’re not over the maximum miles. My Acura dealer was willing to do a break-in oil change very early for me and explained that is how everybody is doing it...
