  2. LIMITED Hybrid Max folks: How is the FT 4WD?

Looks like they revised it since purchasing. And the double check even had me laugh that the 2025 version is now listed instead at 23/24/23... so... they don't really have a clue (non-hybrid is now listed as 20-23-21 https://www.toyota.com/tacoma/features/mpg_other_price/7582/7534
  3. LIMITED Hybrid Max folks: How is the FT 4WD?

EPA is 24-24-24 for the Limited MAX. On my 5th tank. Here is MPG for each one (manually calculated based on gallons refilled vs miles driven since last refill). 19.87 19.36 20.54 18.35
  4. Card key style keyfob for 2024 Tacoma - first look!

Toyota lists a very simple button sequence that disables the proximity functionality of the fob. You could do that to disable proximity, lock box it, then re enable once you've returned. If a tiny dry bag isn't an option, I've done double bagging in freezer grade ziplocks successfully. But...
  5. LIMITED Hybrid Max folks: How is the FT 4WD?

Love mine. Will take Toyota F4WD any day. Handled the multiple snow storms we got like a champ and didn't slip at all when needing to get by other risky vehicles or transitioning from thick unplowed to packed unplowed to slush to cleared roads. So far I've never felt traction slip and have me...
  6. Factory manuals currently 20% discount

What's the difference between the "Service Manual" and the "Manual and Service Workshop Guide"? Do you need both? Or is one a superset of the other?
  7. OEM Pro & TH Light Bar - Manual Operation

Hypothesizing: Install an aftermarket switch and route a new wire as if it was non-factory, then use a DT harness plug to plug the light bar into your new power source rather than the pigtail it's likely on. Or slice open the final wires to the light and figure out which one is the power wire...
  8. Increase running time after remote start??

No. It's hard set at 10 minutes. And you can only perform 2 cycles before you must press the start/ignition button in the cab. https://support.toyota.com/s/article/After-remotely-starti-7423?language=en_US Also, for the nags on the fob buttons to start, Toyota gives pretty clear timing...
  9. Switching Back to Vehicle Settings From AndroidAuto Screen?

Tap for the 9-dot grid icon in the corner of the AA sidebar. You'll see "Toyota" listed as one of your quick apps. Tap it to return to Toyota's menu system.
  10. Turn off headlights off

As others mentioned, There's is an option under Vehicle Settings | Lighting on the infotainment screen to toggle DRL off. If that's not a available for you, you could also try using Carista, which also has it in the customization menu.
  11. Homelink problems.. Can anyone give me some tips?

Always nice when people take time to write clear instructions. My edit to your process (for those that can do it) is to have your truck parked inside the garage where you just step up on the door sill to reach the opener learn button (or reach up through the sunroof if you have one). Saves the...
  12. Bronze oxide + heritage/TRD pro grill with light bar pics request

Did you try doing a forum search first? I'm compelled to ask that because a simple search of "heritage" and "diode" will return my post doing exactly this with their 18" light bar.
  13. Overland Tailor Tuning (OTT) - 4G (2024+) Tacoma Development

Thanks for the update! Are these graphs with proper 87 octane as the "regular" and are you using 91 or 93 as your premium. Please label/legend for us
  14. Homelink problems.. Can anyone give me some tips?

On my genie, trying via remote doesn't work because it's an "intelli-code" so you have to let the remote step fail for it to prompt you for learn mode. Then hit the learn button on your garage opener motor assembly and while that's rapidly blinking press the desired homelink button on the truck...
  15. Fog Lights: Essential or Outdated? Let’s Chat About Winter Visibility!🌟

I've pulled the front assembly twice now (with a third time expected). So far zero issues or alerts with DCC or parking proximity. I will say though that I have the battery fully disconnected before I unplug and it's all plugged back together before I reenergize the truck. So the system never...
  16. DIY: How to access the back of the driver's switch panel (trim removal steps)

Iterations of web searches tweaking my keywords, browsing the resulting links and images, and then looking at "similar parts" that the Toyota supplier shows. Not hard, but takes time.
  17. Fog Lights: Essential or Outdated? Let’s Chat About Winter Visibility!🌟

No. because you don't change the sensors, nor the mounting positions. All that is part of the bumper assembly as you remove it. You just have to unplug the wire harness from each (which is a royal pain btw). I had no issues with DCC when using it on two road trips after.
  18. Anyone done this larger cup holder yet?

I've ordered one as well after the designer confirmed fit for a 40 ounce vacuum seal bottle.
