I honestly don't think Toyota nor Aisin really know which units have debris. That's why you see such a wide range.
I'm in the affected VINs, but haven't had any trans issues as of 6500 miles. I've had what I would call a lurch in the mornings from P to R, but running strong as of now.
So I've noticed that my seat belt is scarring the side panel. Has anybody else noticed this? Or how to prevent it or something to put over that panel that would reduce the wear?
I've seen a few of these same threads and it always comes back to a bad tire that needs replaced. Or if you have the roof rack like above. It's not normal to have it. That's your dealer being lazy/incompetent.
Tell your kids they never had to live through the Chevy S-10 backseats and that they should feel lucky to have as much room as the Tacoma has :ROFLMAO:
I'm curious if you still get accurate detections with it being that far back.
I like the idea though, especially driving through VA. It's annoying to have to unplug if just for the area.
I agree with the dude that said you have to go out and do your own work to find what you want, instead of waiting on Toyota to magically make your truck, when there is no ordering system.
My wife's RAV's transmission went out unexpectedly so we had to get a new vehicle. This was in May, right...
