  1. List of Unsold 2024 Tacoma Affected by the Transmission TSB as of 12/18/24 *UPDATED*

I honestly don't think Toyota nor Aisin really know which units have debris. That's why you see such a wide range. I'm in the affected VINs, but haven't had any trans issues as of 6500 miles. I've had what I would call a lurch in the mornings from P to R, but running strong as of now.
  2. Seat Belt Scarring Side Panel

Thanks! I'll definitely look into this!
  3. Seat Belt Scarring Side Panel

More so when getting in the truck than when getting out. It seems to catch on the side panel and just scratches when I put it on.
  4. Seat Belt Scarring Side Panel

So I've noticed that my seat belt is scarring the side panel. Has anybody else noticed this? Or how to prevent it or something to put over that panel that would reduce the wear?
  5. Hood Insulator

    Yes
  6. Where in Florida is everyone from? Post your new Tacoma!

Currently in Ogden, UT. Moved from Melbourne (well Viera), to out here last year - but will be returning first of the year hopefully.
  7. 2024 TRD OR vibration/shudder

I've seen a few of these same threads and it always comes back to a bad tire that needs replaced. Or if you have the roof rack like above. It's not normal to have it. That's your dealer being lazy/incompetent.
  8. Toyota OEM hard bed tonneau cover is NICE.

Nope, the rack is mounted to where the cover isn't compatible.
  9. 1 week in, 850 miles so far.

I was only 17 at the time it was introduced, but I wish I would have bought some. Still wild how it's taken off.
  10. 4th gen with kids?

Tell your kids they never had to live through the Chevy S-10 backseats and that they should feel lucky to have as much room as the Tacoma has :ROFLMAO:
  11. Winter is coming (real Canadian winter)

I'll be curious to see how the first batch of winter Tacomas do with slush/freeze and the brake lines.
  12. TSB: 2024 Tacoma Transmission Failures Issue & Replacement (9/9/24). Updated w/ VIN Lookup Tool

Do you know if the code found matched the ones in the TSB? If so, and you have record of it, seems pretty clear that you could get it replaced.
  13. A very boring stealth radar detector install

I'm curious if you still get accurate detections with it being that far back. I like the idea though, especially driving through VA. It's annoying to have to unplug if just for the area.
  14. I am giving up on waiting for my Tacoma.

I said my piece earlier, but this entire thread I've had this in my mind.
  15. I am giving up on waiting for my Tacoma.

I agree with the dude that said you have to go out and do your own work to find what you want, instead of waiting on Toyota to magically make your truck, when there is no ordering system. My wife's RAV's transmission went out unexpectedly so we had to get a new vehicle. This was in May, right...
