They already make the OEM Bilstein with their "ESCV" valving and external reservoir. My TRD OR has them and they are good. I'm not an off road hobbyist with vehicles but am off road often with trail work. They are good for bigger hits and bumps same time they're good for highway use.
I'm not sure what you mean here - bed cap, tonneau, or an over vehicle tarp or cover for storage. There are good posts here from people who got the different options out there and some good photos.
In my case I am still happy with the decision to get a Fas-Top Traveler model for my TRD OR long...
I'm not sure where the "so many" are or the shame you mention considering Toyota has stood behind the product, has published VINs, and already made efforts to fix the manufacturing problem.
It is a problem for sure but not looking like the many cases or poor history of the auto industry in...
Sorry, no, but I keep getting reminders from associates with other tonneau setups on how I like my decision to get a Fas-Top. There's nothing too special about the tonneau cover itself but it sure is sweet when I've had a full topper as needed, and still have an open bed pickup.
Thank you for sharing.
This is especially helpful for my putting off a tent topper and all my considerations. You confirmed my being certain the weight and costs would add up including the purchases such as springs and the fuel consumption. For a while I really need my pickup as an open bed...
I got SRS compatible simple covers. The plastic molding on the seats said SRS so I assumed it was like another vehicle we had where you are not supposed to cover that. I went with an as needed setup.
What I got might not fit everyone's aesthetic but I'm super happy. They not only work well but...
This is an individual matter. In my case Verizon is a far superior carrier where I spend most of my time so I hotspot my phone. For any paid cellular services start with the carrier best for where you are and go.
I also disabled all the communication per the sticker that comes on the dashboard...
They did have a what's going on Chevy video too, and this week's automotive news points out the Tacoma sales are up now ahead of the Maverick which was summer news.
My sentiments likely helped by our 2020 vehicle purchase, fleet and rentals use, much shopping, and the experiences of some other associates. Associates who got competitors have imperfect vehicles too. A close associate's GM has the bed as offset as my Tacoma and I've seen many others that way...
FWIW, I did not look under the seat of my Tacoma, but my wife's German car has had corrosion like in places you would not think, but it also did not get worse in time.
For mentioning a lawyer, my advice is to not use them when it is inappropriate or when you want your best chance for a situation to have a positive outcome. Consumer and warranty law as well as lemon laws are very settled areas. Engaging with an attorney means be on guard if not fight...
I stated can be. You can see both for sale. The version not 3PMSF rated still gets good comments for winter driving which is part of while I'll give it a chance. Tire decisions will be much easier for me than getting a tent topper.
My still hesitating on the tent topper is nothing against them...
Your post made me smile a little - I did not know the "broverlander" term. When I first got my pickup some guys at trailhead could not believe I was throwing tools in brand new pickup and on a rough trail access. I've pulled out of trail system to trailhead and a guy with a gen 3 all decked out...
I remain undecided on the tent/wedge toppers but am getting to 4000 miles with diverse use now. Even using my pickup a TRD OR off road fairly often I would not want larger or less road friendly wheels and tires setup so you mentioning daily driver stands out. I'm not meaning this as Trail Hunter...
The company Ford and Rivian I'm familiar with equal or beat the range of my 2024 Tacoma. Even where the EVs might be shy of my Tacoma range they don't waste the time I do at gas stations. They start the day full, and can charge at or near most of their destinations.
Now that I see the pickup...
FWIW, taking the time to use the phone got me an actual incident # for the flaky firmware but the person on the phone agreed with me that the owner's manual is poor and he'd be bringing up our discovery, and he noted my comment on paint run.
I'm willing to bet the tone of our talk and being...
Actually, it was foot room that stood out to us. Some competitors let you better stick your feet under the front seat but I'm otherwise with you that the rear seats in mid-sized pickups are like a budget or commuter airline seat experience.
A long time shopping for similar and different...
In the context of the Tacoma, whatever..... The gen 4 really shines with long bed, safety rating, and the amount that have the transmission TSB is small. It's overall a nice round of improvements over prior generations.
It might not be the answer you're looking for but I just put my own or non-streamed, not form a default store audio in my phone's default player. I got there from realizing our own 3 auto makes, friends and family plus rental or fleet are all not so great at that relative to having Android Auto...
