An update to my initial post here. My sales guy called me to check on how the new Tacoma was doing and to tell me the one I traded in sold also. Not sure about everyone's area but in Dallas, trucks sell well!
Take the time to clean it well and make it look good. They told me they just had to...
When I just filled up the estimated mileage for the truck said 275. I know it will do about 325 or so in normal mode in city driving, no towing etc. That is running the tank to about an 8th of a tank.
I usually fill up before that. If I am at 1/4 to 1/2 tank and making a Costco run anyway...
That's why I call it the fuel guessometer. One nice thing is you can have your trip A & trip B displayed at the same time if you wish. I use my trip A for my fuel tank milage and trip B for any trips I want to track.
Not an engineer. Spent a long career in sales management for Pharma companies. Guided my son to become an engineer! He is currently in his first year at Texas A&M. He is looking at computer or electrical engineering. How about you?
Almost all city. Got on a few toll roads to ride my mountain bike at the trails but I would say city driving. was being light footed in Eco mode. In normal mode for this tank will be normal and in sport will be heavy on the next tank.
First tank fill up today. Hit 350 miles on my first tank in ECO mode. Odometer had 350.1 miles and it took 17.63 gallons for 19.85 mpg all city driving. The truck showed 19.6 MPG. With a 18.1 gallon tank that means I had about 1/2 a gallon left in the tank. The mileage remaining feature said 0...

When you hit 0 miles remaining the gauge just says refuel in red. I estimate I have 2+ gallons left from that point. Currently at 335 miles. Carrying about two gallons in a gas tank just in case. Once I hit 350 miles I will top off and see how much fuel she takes and subtract from 18.1...
I know the predator steps have been around a while. Do you know if these fit ony the 4th gen or will they fit 3rd gen? I may sell them and get a different type.
Do you mean ceramic coating on top of your Paint protective film? I have done car in Ceramic pro and another in Matte PPF on the front hood, bumper, lights, A pillars & side mirrors. The ceramic pro was great for bug and bird poop. PPF was great for that plus rock chips etc. If I did PPF on...
Still on the original tank of gas from the dealer. Going into reserve in 2 miles. Going for 350 on this tank. Currently at about 19.5 mpg all in city & ECO mode.
