Hello, fellow Austinite! I'm definitely interested in joining. Will have to check the family calendar. Did you book a tour for multiple rigs and are looking for folks to fill the spots? Or just tossing this out there as an "FYI - come join me!"?
Here's "Grog."
My son and I love the Vox Machina show on Amazon Prime.
Grog is a half-giant and my Taco is a mid-size truck.
Grog is blueish-grey and my Taco is blue.
Grog's power is that he "would like to rage!" and I wish that was my power
I've used GAIA, onX, and Trails Offroad.
I found GAIA to be the least intuitive of them all. The most success I had with it was planning routes using my computer & mouse then saving them and downloading them to my phone or iPad mini. The interface on a mobile device was just not friendly...
I too have been trying to figure this out. The Toyota accessories site is a horrid experience, if it actually loads.
I've had more luck getting dealer-specific accessory sites to load, but they too have so little information...
This. I love the look of it and just bought a take-off sport bar from a forum member. I don't want a full tonneau cover and plan on installing the Decked system instead, which the sport bar won't interfere with.
I love the look of the TRD Skid Plate. Trying to decide if it's worth the OEM price tag. Do you have any photos of it from a regular angle, just standing in front the truck?
Wondering how visible the TRD actually is from an everyday level point of view.
Do you happen to know the distance between the "arms" of these? I'm plan to get rid of the OEM steps and am currently trying to balance finding good rock sliders without any low-hanging parts and appeasing my short wife.
These would be a great solution for my wife, but at the moment, I'm...
I don't have quite the off-road miles you do under my belt. But I had a Wrangler Rubicon for four years and did my fair share of off-roading. The only two times I ever engaged the lockers was at the Jeep Adventure Academy when they had us climbing a wet-rocks obstacle get out of a creek about...
Sweet! Have you found mounts or brackets that will fit the ARB bar?
I had a Baja Design 10" light bar mounted to the grille/winch protection bar on my Wrangler's front bumper. But all of their mounts don't seem to be able to accommodate the width and not-circular nature of the ARB bar.
I'm working with a forum member to buy his take-off Trailhunter ARB Sports Bar. Wondering if anyone that has one installed has mounted lights to it yet.
I've only done a cursory search for mounts, with no results. It seems like the width of the cross bar might be an obstacle to anyone...
It's a great place. They have trails ranging from levels 1-5. They recommend nothing above Level 3 for a stock 4x4. I was able to do some Level 4 trails in the Wrangler. Never had the cajones to try any Level 5 stuff in my daily driver.
Their trails are all marked on apps like onX Offroad...
A fellow convert / team jumper / fed up with Wranglers guy! My Rubicon was a beast and I absolutely loved it. I just didn't love the stupid design decisions they made and the poor build quality.
I never got to anything like blowing a head gasket. But stuff just kept piling up. Something was...
