Just received a response to a marketing email where they featured 4th Gen Tacoma parts. Not only will their bumper come with front recovery points, but theyāll offer the recovery points by themselves which will work with OEM front bumper. Very exciting.
Edit: I guess I couldāve been more...
Has anyone figured this out yet? The light bar only comes on with high beam operation but thereās got to be a way to re-wire and be able to fire it manually with the button?
I tried a search and didnāt find anything so apologies if this info is already out there.
Sounds a bit different than the sound I was having, but had a similar clunking/clicking coming from the front during slow maneuvers and turning the wheel lock to lock - took it to the dealer yesterday and turns out it was the hardware on my skid plate for some reason causing that noise. They...
Gonna threadjack a little bit here, since it's semi-on-topic:
Why don't our trucks have the passenger blindspot camera come on during right turn signaling? With all the cameras on these trucks, I feel like this was an easy win, and cars much older have this feature. I find myself frequently...
Always thinking ahead, sir - love it!
the Toyota pigtail is about 12 inches long. I didnāt have to add any extra length between the splitter/single pole and the pigtail; there was enough length there. And the black wire on the pigtail is power. The ground (white/black, thick wire) wasnāt used...
you donāt need the full length harness with switch; just the short harness, but you also need an additional Y-Splitter and single pole connector. Iād just call and ask for John, and ask him to get your order setup with the same exact parts āPaulā ordered.
Think you're onto something. I found this part #, which based off the product description, almost appears to be the entire bed rack system ("holds 200lbs"); there are different part #'s for JUST the Molle panels, based on whether you need them for the 5ft or 6ft config. I have an appt to bring...
was able to snag a few photos tonight in the darkest spot I could find on my way home:
tailgate up (all other lights off):
Tailgate up (all other lights off):
Tailgate down (all other lights off):
Tailgate down (bed scene on):
Tailgate down (all other lights off):
Tailgate down -...
Appreciate that. Rigid D-SS floods with Cali Raised brackets. They only pull something like 4amps so having them wired into the 10A circuit shouldnāt be an issue and I can fire both the ditch lights (AUX 2) and rear lights (AUX 1) separately.
Iāll work on getting a video for you guys to show throw with the tailgate up and down. Theyāre damn bright though.
The taillight pops back in no problem at all. Like surprisingly easier than I thought it would be. Canāt tell that it was ever removed.
If you're like me, and wanted the vehicle-specific Rigid light kit for the ARB Bumper, but also wanted the feature of being able to manually fire the lights as well - then this thread is for you. You can also follow this along for the 'normal' install as well; you'd just forego the 'splitter'...
correct, and correct! Iāll take a video to confirm it works with all 3 functions, 2 of which are automatic.
btw, the rigid vehicle-specific kit is just the same thing - the SR-Lās, but with a harness that doesnāt work as intended. So itās not like youāre getting anything better/worse just...
Iāll get the write up posted today, but what Iāll say in the meantime is, donāt bother with the vehicle-specific kit from Rigid. Just call up John and buy the standard flush mount SR-Lās and get SPVās harness. Their kit is way more intuitive and ācompleteā than what the vehicle-specific kit...
Hi all, I just want to echo what everyoneās been saying about John at SPV. I sent an email to them last Friday morning and within minutes, was on the phone with Sidney who was SO knowledgeable, but wanted me to connect with John to be sure I was able to accomplish exactly what I was looking for...
