  1. Howdy!

In the same boat, but only got a gladiator. Tired of the 3.6 in it. This new tacoma looks promising, most the stats blow away the competition.
  2. Former Tacoma Owner

Personally recommend not doing the gladiator (for now). Motor dependability it hit or miss, especially offroading. And dealers don't want to work with u after modding. I'm waiting to jump on taco bandwagon when trailhunter drops, especially if I land this job with toyota
  3. Power running boards for the TRD Pro?

Given how the oe rock raises are installed, shouldn't be too difficult for aftermarket to produce. Would love to get one from rockslide engineering like they have for gladiator, wit an off switch so it doesn't lower when offroading. Wouldn't mind an aries one either, if they can keep it flush...
  4. Oil change interval for 2024 Tacoma 4th gen hybrid and gas engines? Synthetic or conventional engine oil?

Pending how u drive, and where, determines true length of mileage before oil change. Light drivers that don't put many miles or barely work the motor, good for 7.5k - 10k. Run it ragged, motor always hot, lots of miles, offroading moderate to often, etc... I would do 5k - 7.5k pending how...
  5. Does the base powertrain give you enough power?

I force has more than enough power for all its claimed to do. Has more than my Gladiator, and my Gladiator is a couple hundred lbs heavier and on 37s. Never felt the pentastar being weak like some claim. As for the base motor, I'm sure toyota debated it mainly for economy, but those numbers...
  6. Spotted: Trailhunter Tacoma without roof rack and sport bar / bed rack (removed)

The bronze wheels will be standard on trailhunter, as pictured. The OP pics are of one of the test mules out in the wild, crunching in last minute data before "polishing" and releasing to the public. I would love one built out like ur pic tho. All it would need is a winch bumper and I'd be done.
  7. Spotted: Trailhunter Tacoma without roof rack and sport bar / bed rack (removed)

I read also where that the roof rack and sport bar would be optional. The "raised intake" is relatively low key and looks like it would be out of sight when in the driver's seat, unlike the snorkel I have on my gladiator. Luckily, that isn't blocking any important views from driver seat. I'm...
