it definitely gives off fighter jet vibes, but I regularly rest my hand on the shifter and that'd make me crazy.
Force of habit from driving stick in most of my cars.
America's Tire stuck my 5th full size spare underneath, but scratched up my new rim in the process. They're replacing the rim free of charge, but a 285/70/17 KO3 on a Method 705 will fit under there. I don't want mine under there, will be making a mount for the bed, since the clearance suffers.
use the notches in the bed, put some cut 2x4s in there, use straps across the back to keep them from coming out.

I went with E.
With my very scientific bathroom scale, I see me going from OEM/Falkens at 67.5 lb/ea:
To 85.7 lb/ea with the Method+KO3s:
I've driven them on the freeway and they feel great. They feel "bigger" but in a good way...? No droning, not any noticeably louder than OEMs, but...
Haven't had a chance to really put them through tests yet, just drove from tire shop home.
when I bought the wheels from method's website directly, I just added a set of lugs.
They did not use the rings, they were in the passenger seat when I picked the car up. I assume from the condition...
Woo baby, just got back from the tire store :)

here's the locations you can tap off of, and what amperage each allows for:
which harness you use depends on which "jump point" you're connecting to. It was confusing for me at first, wiring up my winch to AUX3 as a power cutout solenoid, but each wire in the pigtail is a different switch. So...
Yeah I just poked them asking to switch to RAW steel. I have local powdercoating shops near me, but after some googling, found that it's simply not worth PC-ing in the first place. "Rocks will win" is the common theme, and you're better off saving the $200 and just rattle canning yourslef, so...
Ordered mine about 8 weeks ago, and finally poked asking when I could expect to see them. They told me that they "got a new pipe bender" and they were expecting to "make mine in two weeks or so", which like, okay, sure? No proactive heads up if this is true, or maybe they lost/forgot my order...
i'm waiting for method to get the 705s with +35 back in stock. could buy them elsewhere, but have a 25% coupon for method themselves. 25% off on five wheels means one is basically free.

do the fang lights simply piggyback on your main headlights, or require burning one of the AUX switches to use?
I'm already using AUX 3 for my winch, expect to use AUX 1 and 2 for lightbar and ditch lights eventually.
While the knock sensors can adjust the skew, you don't NEED to run these higher octanes. The engine is built expecting 87, and i honestly just like to keep it vanilla. If you flash an ECU tune that expects 91, then sure.
this will be unpopular, but you don't just "use better gas" if the engine is tuned to run 87, which these are. the octane rating only determines the pressure required to detonate, so if an egine expecting 87 gets 91 put in it, it's not "better because it costs more", it expects a certain...
Thanks all for the replies. I've been keeping a close eye on it and seems okay. Teaching moment for the boy... "the dial itslf is sports mode, etc, but don't use the thumb switch" :)
