Would running 93 octane be better than 91? 2024 trd or hybrid w/ ott tune

It was surging during acceleration, not all the time just sometimes. Usually when i was around 70% throttle getting onto the interstate accelerating from 45 to 50. It would only do it when I was in normal mode but the tuner updated the tune and fixed it right up. Hasnt done it since.

Just make sure you don't get tires that are too heavy for what you need, unsprung weight is a killer. I went from stock to ko3's and can physically feel the difference in acceleration. The only reason i went with ko3's is that I live and work in the oilfield and need extra protection from road...

UPDATE Got with my ott tuner today. He was able to correct my issue. These guys really are on top of things and the customer service is top notch. The truck runs like a dream, better hp and torque and I'm actually still getting better MPG than before the tune. Absolute WIZARDRY.

If it makes you feel better, spray soapy water on it and make sure there isn't any bubbles.

Thank you for your input, got with the tuner. He's going to have a look at it tomorrow, may need to reflash it due to my truck being an oddball. He said Justin knows what the problem is, I guess Justin is the boss man. Will definitely keep yall updated, appreciate all the help.

Anyone have a stutter, hesitation when accelerating? Had the tune for about a week and it does have more power but sometimes it doesn't seem steady hopping up onto the Interstate.

I was having the same, switched to 91 octane and staying out of throttle for the first shift helped.

I have heard of fuel tanks that go in the place of the spare tire, I was hoping someone had spotted one.

Can confirm, you have to have the sound by law because otherwise your hybrid would be completely silent, not deemed safe for pedestrians.
