I've had the remote rearview mirror for just under 3 years in my RAV4, it's weird at first, but once you get used to it you find it preferable (at least I do) and I just drive with it 100% of the time now.

Definitely something I'd take to the dealership.

Meanwhile my tacoma which was due to be put into production on 3/19, now has a production date of 4/6. Hoping they're adjusting their process to fix this issue.

Are those rock sliders? My 4G has not arrived yet, but I was able to get it without any of those worthless predator side steps and was planning to install some rock sliders that function as a step for my wife/kid. If those are functional rock sliders, those steps look great.

I have the softex in my RAV4 since 2019 and no issues. Cloth seats over time end up getting dirty and any amount of moisture causes spotting once dirt is embedded in the fabric.

Yes, though I haven't seen in person, many of the pictures I've seen, depending on lighting and angle comes off dark green.

Agree... though I think a lot of the current 2024 builds we are seeing on youtube are SR5 trims simply because they couldn't get an off road in time to be first on the interwebs.

Look to the Tundra non-hybrid to hybrid... the mpg doesn't really improve. I've been told from the dealership that the hybrid won't really have better mpg for the Tacoma either.

I've got my name on a bronze oxide TRD OR, probably won't get it in my hands till May at the rate this is going though.

Being a year 1, I opted to go for it. Like you pointed out, the electronics really up the chances of an issue down the road.

I also want to strip all the badging off my TRD OR when I get it into my hands. Would love to know your technique!

Sweet! Though I don't think thats the OR trim, notice the front air dam is installed and the TRD OR has it off by default. That said, I've got a 2024 TRD OR Premium in Bronze Oxide with my name on it with an expected production date of 3/19. Love the color and cannot wait to get behind the wheel.
