I have an OBD Link dongle that I can use to monitor various parameters. When I am in P, R, or N, I will see the voltage indicator above reading at the halfway point (5 segments) and voltage at the OBD port is 13.7 to 14.1. Once I select D, the voltage indicator shows the same as above (3...
Initially, your local Toyota dealership, otherwise a local automotive paint shop should be able to source the correct color touchup pen. Lastly, with the paint color code, you could source the touchup pen online.
I think this looks more like a paint chip than a glass chip. The environment the truck is used in will determine the severity of that chip. Using a good paint touch up pen(s) (color and clear) to seal the chip will help prolong the effects the environment may have on that compromised surface.
Here is what the instructions actually say. Note the cleaning more often when used in dusty/off-road environments. I've always changed my serviceable air filters every oil change by simply swapping the dirty filter with a spare clean filter and then service the dirty filter, so it is ready to...
The Yota Xpedition video also does not mention the rubber sleeves and axle brackets have a specific orientation (besides the open end facing down). There is also a molded in angle, described in the Toyota install instructions, that is to point towards the wheels.
This is also the battery that is in my '24 OR hybrid. I carpool every other week and travel, so my truck sits for a few days and intermittently a week or so. Knocking on wood, I have yet to see an issue.
A bit off topic, but I like the contrasting body side molding on the doors. I almost went the same route on my silver taco but ended up installing the color matching ones. I don't see them very often.
Agreed. Reading my previous response, I think I was answering one thought by typing another. I don't specifically defeat it on the taco. Although, I probably would if there was a dedicated button to do so. I had stumbled across the S mode defeat while exploring the features of the truck. Turns...
The service manual shows the location of the seat blower motors. Since they pull air through the seat, it will be the same temperature as the cabin air.
For me, it's just a personal preference thing. I don't care for the delay of the I.C.E. on restart and will immediately look for the auto start/stop disable button in any rental cars I come across that have it.
I wasn't aware tow/haul mode defeated it but found it interesting shifting to S mode...
Pressing the cruise mode button to switch between distance detection ON/OFF will clear any previously set speed. This can only be done once cruise has been deactivated via the cancel button or after applying brakes.
I think at the same time, the dealership/tech could have raised any concerns they have with the non-factory parts and came up with a better solution than to just make do and cause a mess.
