My father couldn't wait to unload his Frontier for a Tacoma... he did it 3 years ago and couldn't be happier. He had major transmission issues.
Then again, you're talking about next-gen, so it's apples to turnips.
A few videos mentioned they fixed this by raising the seat and roof...
Here's a '23:
And here's a '24:
Some more current gen pics, but none are exactly at the same angle.
Those are perfect. THANK YOU!
Like @marvelmadman said, it's mounted to the track, and slides right out when unbolted. That's great to know.
I still hope there's a bit of grain on the bed surface when production models come out. Shiny = slippery.
Thanks again.
I see it mentioned above, but I log every single fuel-up using the free version of Fuelly. It takes a couple of seconds to log on my phone at the pump. Read the mileage gauge in the car before stepping out, start fueling, open the app, enter the mileage and cost per gallon while it fuels, and...
And the standard/optional equipment and dealer options list!
I wonder if the TH only comes in that interior color... doesn't matter much to me, since I do like it. Even got me a keychain to match already! And grill bling.
I read somewhere they were discounting Gladiators up to $20k... haven't actually confirmed it, but that would make me think twice about taking a gamble on the engine. I really do like the truck.
Having said that, my deposit for a '24 Taco ain't going anywhere lol
Man, that black Pro looks incredible, and I'm a TH guy! That's the only color where the shiny fenders don't annoy me because they blend into the rest of the truck. LOVE IT. If I were getting a Pro, it would be a black one.
As for the Trailhunters shown, I thought I'd like the black, but I'm not...
The colors available per trim haven't been announced yet, but the only blue in the '24MY is Blue Crush Metallic.
I like both colors, but if I had to choose, it would be that custom one.
Oof. You can't even sit children back there (and I'm looking at the driver's side). That looks like 2-3" of leg room just deleted. Also, if you do manage to sit anyone back there, I can't imagine banging your knees against that contraption would be very comfortable.
Hard to say. I have been reading a lot about Toyota's possible plans to get rid of dealers, and if that's the case, I can only see a build-to-order retail model working. Then again, you can effectively get rid of dealers by forcing the payment and financing to be done online, with the dealer...
Fair point, and I would go one step further and say that last point of yours applies to everyone looking to buy a Toyota of any kind, period. No build-to-order means you will have to settle for something CLOSE to your perfect build, but likely not exact.
May the Dealer-Installed-Options Gods...
Are you me? That’s my exact list.
I used to hate bronze wheels but these have grown on me, especially since they match the grille badge. In some lighting, they almost match the body color. I can live it with until it’s time to change tires, then I might just get some Black Rhinos.
Yeah, that looks sweet too, but so do all the different versions I posted, including bare stock, which is probably the way I'd go for a while. That last picture makes it look like a Pro.
