    It would seem that they realized that if all four switches were powered on, possibly with all four drawing max amps, that the 12v battery was actually being discharged faster than it was being charged.. hence the need for an alternate charging source.

    I removed bed caps (easy) , and ran some foam weather sealing tape underneath. Also, it would be very difficult to properly seal up the two front gaps with the butyl tape without removing the bed caps. Remove caps-butyl tape the gaps-install caps-continue to butyl tape the new gaps left by the caps.

    24 TH- No Alternator ignition ON- 11.8v after starting- 14.1v few minutes later- 12.5~12.9v readings taken from 12v outlet volt meter.. would need to read voltage from battery to be accurate.

    Not to burst your bubble but I think the 24-25 harnesses are indeed different. Adding an Aux 4 switch will require more wiring than just plugging it in. The 24s only have 3 relays and 3 fuses relating to the aux switches.

    You’d need to order the lettering. It comes pre-spaced and aligned. Or, create a jig using your existing letters on the truck before removing them
