Lasfit (& amazon clones) are not nearly as slippery as no mat but probably not as sticky OEM. I like the amazon one I have as it is seemingly middle of the road in friction & on the lower end of cost, but great fitment.

Make your own pig tail to connect into the factory connector? That way no cutting and easily reversible (no splicing; although splicing isn't difficult).

This isn't what you're asking for but you can set it to unlock all doors when grabbing the handle in the infotainment screen. Not quite the same solution but way less of a pain when you frequently travel with more than yourself.

Anyone have the scoop on the tow hooks/recovery points shown on the prorunner? I am hoping they add this to the 2025 catalogue I’d like to get these to complement the ARB rear ones.

As others have mentioned, it says 3 but starts in 1. It'll shift up to 3 on its own and then stay there. You can also shift down to 2 & 1 if you're at a stop to have them stay in those lower gears.

Go 6ft bed. If you aren't going to rock crawl or do any rigorous off-roading, then the extra bed capacity is worth the loss in breakover angle and turning radius. After my first firewood haul I was glad I went long bed.
