100% agree! Iām waiting to see how long it takes an aftermarket company to design some additional lights to go were those fake vents are below the headlights. Seems like some LED lights could actually compliment the OEM lighting.
Follow upā¦. If youāre thinking about the Charlotte Autoshow? Save your time and money!!! No (new) Tacoma, no Ranger, no Canyon or Frontier. A major disappointment for a car show to say the least.
The only new midsize there was the Colorado (a TrailBoss). I have to say it was really nice and...
My son and I are going to the Charlotte Auto Show at the Charlotte Convention Center tomorrow night. Iām hoping they have all the new midsize trucks on the floor! Iām especially interested in the Tacoma and Ranger.
Iām all in on a crewcab/longbed too. Iāve driven nothing but Ford trucks the last 30 years (ā94 Ranger SuperCab with 6ā bed and ā02 F-150 SuperCrew with 5 1/2ā bed). Iām done with full-size trucks due to their bloated size and prices. Iām also not willing to lose bed space going to a midsize...
Okay is it just me or do those fake nonfunctional āventsā below the lights look a bit odd to anyone else? I wonder how long until a aftermarket lighting company designs some lights to go in that spot?
Also have to comment on how much I love that Trailhunter wheel/tire combo! The Bronze wheels...
GREAT!!! Not going to be able to unsee that now. Thanks!!! I guess the first thing Iāll do if I end up with a Trailhunter is remove the āparty in the backā (bed rack). ?
I absolutely love the idea of a factory direct overland truck with a full warranty. No added time and/or labor to swap parts and the hassle of having to get rid of OEM parts after taken off.
But I hate paying for things I donāt want or need. For me (and many) the snorkel is expensive...
Love the Bronze Oxide and prefer the 6ā bed over this one. I also like the test trucks with these wheels in black over the bronze wheels shown here. I also hope the air snorkel is an option I can pass on. Not going to pay a premium for something I donāt even want, and Iām sure Iām not alone...
I was initially thinking about the Trailhunter, but with air scoop, sport rack and a few other items included that I donāt want (and not willing to pay for), the TRD Off-road longbed will likely be my pick too.
Agreed! While the seat high has been addressed, it look like the rear legroom hasnāt. Very disappointing! Understanding that while seated, you feet rest under the front seats, but seriously though, it looks like there is barely enough room to rest your feet while getting into the rear?
Yeah, just read this article about how truck prices are pushing average national payment to new record highs⦠https://www.carscoops.com/2023/08/expensive-pickup-trucks-push-average-monthly-auto-payments-to-record-highs/
Two years ago I built a few trucks on the online configurators. TRD Pro, Z2 Colorado and Ranger (Lariat) w/ Tremor package⦠not one was over $50k. With that said, shouldnāt be one over $60k two years later. Itās just nuts!!!
Yeah, I think anything offered in the midsize market needs to be under the $60k mark (TRD-Pro and Trailhunter included). Itās just getting more ridiculous and these companies are out of touch with their consumers. Iām sure there are others like me trying to be sensible by cross shopping the...
