So you have some options. Kinda depending on what are you planning to power with those USBs?
One easy option is to take something like this (https://a.co/d/1lVJWFE) and run it behind the stereo and down to the USB C port in front of the shifter (or just to that one on the side of the head unit)...
We actually had a launch, but pulled it before we sold any because in my testing on a long road trip, I wasn't happy with the radar relocation. Real close to dropping the new version with the radar in the stock location.
We painted them here at the shop. Used automotive urethane paint with flattening agent. If you don't want to get that involved, you could try plastidip.
If I remember correctly I used this mount and it fit without the oring on the bottom of the nut. You could probably find a 1/2 NMO for thicker steel, but I wanted to keep it all low profile. Don't forget you'll need to remove some powdercoat underneath the brackets for it to ground...
I can check with tech support, but I assume either a non-stainless bolt snuck in or sometimes people drill through the mounting holes (using them as a guide) and the powder coat gets knocked off in that hole by the bit. It could also be we missed a spot of powder in that location, but it would...
I'm sorry to hear that. The hardware should all be black oxide coated stainless. Could you please shoot the customer service team some photos when you get a second just to verify that our bolt supplier didn't mix anything up? Sorry for the hassle.
