As long as the rails don't get moved down for the cover. I don't believe they do this on the OEM taco cover.

So you can just install ours that way if you wanted to source the rubber bumpers, and it's a method we've used before, but depending on weight on the panel it can vibrate.

I'd say don't install the driver side panel then. I think most, like ours, are drill only.

It does use them, but you have to mount the bottom to something.

Yeah, driver side is totally blank. No storage box to use the bolts of. Bed is composite though, drills way easy.

Yeah I used the grommet on the passenger side firewall for my antenna and it was one of the easiest runs ever. Also yes, I usually run my USB with a 12V converter straight to the battery with a fuse so I have a pair of always on USBs for charging devices at camp. Also thinking more clearly...
