So you can just install ours that way if you wanted to source the rubber bumpers, and it's a method we've used before, but depending on weight on the panel it can vibrate.

Yeah I used the grommet on the passenger side firewall for my antenna and it was one of the easiest runs ever.
Also yes, I usually run my USB with a 12V converter straight to the battery with a fuse so I have a pair of always on USBs for charging devices at camp.

I used an old modded multimount panel for the faceplate I had from RAM, but a better replacement is on the way.

That photo is a 3G. We are actually launching a dash mount that goes behind the 14" screen soon here. I'm going to try and use it to mount my radio faceplate. Ill post her when I figure it out.
