First thing I removed when I bought my truck and got it home - those dumb ass locking wheel nuts. Here in Canada the thieves have zero interest in taking my wheels - theyāll take the whole damn truck. On top of that, ever been on the side of the road in the middle of winter with a flat tire when...
Welcome - only annoying thing about those lug nuts is the exorbitant price they want for lug nuts. They must be available elsewhere for a more reasonable price.. just need to find them or the model that may use themā¦. I looked for a while, found some Land Rover that may fit.
No worries. I would have preferred something that flipped up for more versatility But this was available ānowā and needed one, itās not ridiculous to get it out when I need the full bed - If anyone does find one that flips up share the link!
So I took the brackets out⦠took some photos. There is no way for that divider to pivot up or down. Thereās no way for it to go anywhere other than slide in the bed rails either forward or back. I donāt care what the description says⦠the description had me doubting myself so much I went out to...
Wow, interesting it does read differently, picture is the same as the Canadian picture. Iāll check mine again tomorrow, I mean even if it could, flip up, and lie flat above cargo area as suggested itās pretty heavy to do that even though it suggests itās made of light weight aluminum.
Ah, okay ? misread. But not sure I understand, why bother taking 4mm off the new nuts if they were too long? They still would have worked just stuck out a little, guess just for aesthetics you decided to shorten them?
There are these as wellā¦good to know about the ones you bought, but technically if you had to shorten the studs, the ones you bought are too short and you needed longer lug nuts.
? would have been interested in knowing who that vendor was, I wasnāt able to find an alternative other than the OE one. Guess in the end thereās always the shower curtain rod ?
No it does not rotate would be nice if it did. someone else said they they read that too, I never remember reading that though - just double checked on the Canadian site, no note of it doing that.
Here is a link to the TripleALiners I bought for mine. I ordered early, but still took close to 3 weeks before I received it. It works, maybe not quite as "sticky" as I'd like it to be. Does the job, but truthfully I think I would have preferred the one from Bison. Another option I hear works...
It does say available in black or chrome. Iām assuming that they are sourcing them from āsomewhereā and then marking them up to a stupid price. Makes me think these lug nuts would have to be available elsewhere.
I may have missed this in the thread, but here are a set of lug nuts made to fit 3G / 4Runner rims onto a 4G. https://raveoffroad.com/products/14mm-lug-nuts-for-12mm-bore-hole-tacoma-4runner-wheels
Youāre not winning here. - premise not ridiculous. One person on this forum has had his truck bought back for evaporator leaks(cited). There are lemon laws as well (check into those). Lastly Iām not looking for a grade on the quality of my postās.??āāļø
Itās either pull the engine or pull the transmission - theyād be pulling the transmission to do the job. Good idea and as for some extra warranty coverage if they canāt or wonāt replace the truck.
