Your truck looks absolutely SICK with that cap. There is just enough contrast between the Underground colour and the matte black of the cap. And with the new tires and wheels, (and possibly a mild lift?) the truck doesn't start to look too long - even with the long bed.
I'm looking at the exact...
Tony, Do you have the power tailgate? I would like to know if you can open the tailgate without opening the back hatch. My guess is yes otherwise if someone hit that button the hatch might be damaged... but I'm interested to know for use. Considering getting one this week.
Thank you!
There is definitely a setting where you can change that on the Gen4 Tacoma. I think it's on the multimedia display under the vehicle settings. Have a look and if you still can't find it, I'll check later and let you know exactly where it is.
I just adjusted mine this weekend so I know it's there.
I have solved this problem, or at least found a way around it. For some reason, it just doesn't work on my phone (iPhone SE2022). I loaded the app on my iPad, and it worked beautifully.
If I open the app on my phone, it now shows my home address where it should.
THs aren't supposed to have the Fox hydraulic bump stops. At least they aren't spec'd with them. I'm going to check mine this weekend and see what's up there. It's a cool bonus upgrade for you for sure!
Good to know, but sorry you're having the same frustrating issue. I was wondering if it might just be happening to Canadian customers, but you have answered that question. Thank you.
I agree 100% that Google Maps through CarPlay is the way to go, and I wouldn't pay for a navigation subscription. I'm on my trial period and I thought I would give it a full try to see what it's like. Looks like others have the same problem.
In their manual, Toyota states that you can only enter your home address for use in the navigation system using the Toyota app. In the app, you click on Find, then Destinations and the next screen shows Home, Work, Favorites, and Sent to Car. If you haven't set up Home and Work addresses, There...
On July 12 2023, just after the Trailhunter was released to the public, I knew I had to have one. I placed my order with the dealership and the long wait began. I was told that the dealership had been given an allocation for the truck in May of 2024 and that it was on it's way, but there was no...
Hey Team Tacoma!
I've read a lot of posts where people have purchased their trucks from dealerships outside of their local area, usually due to the availability of a particular trim level. Have any of you who have purchased from a non-local dealership had any difficulty with getting servicing...
My 2005 Nissan Frontier NISMO was built in Feb 2005 and used by Nissan Canada as a corporate fleet vehicle before I bought it in November of 2005. The corporate folks put 7000km on it before I got it. The dealership gave me full warranty by listing the in-service date as the day I bought it...
Gang,
When doing the "Build and Price" on the Toyota website (note - Canadian site), one of the accessories is the Toyota Genuine Dash Camera Series 2.0. If you order this as a part, it comes with both front and rear facing cameras. The description says that the rear camera is not available on...
